Junko Enoshima (with Monokuma) – Chou Koukoukyuu no Figure (#01)

ORIGIN: Super Danganronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen
MANUFACTURER: Algernon Product
DISTRIBUTOR: Cafe Reo
SCALE: 1/7
JAN:4560380793542
The details are amazing; however, the only negative is her hair color, which is darker than her original hair color. Algernon decided to go with a brown which is much harsher than her normal cream color.
Aside from the off color of the hair, the rest of the color scheme complements the figure very nicely. There was nothing spared in terms of attention to detail; there are even detailed woven seam lines on Junko’s boots next to her laces which give it an incredibly lifelike appearance.
Monokuma is perfectly done as well, his symmetrical white and black color scheme has been 100% accurately recreated,
We also want to bring attention to her superbly accurate face; her eyes are striking and correspond to the art style of the game (although the blue is a bit uncomfortably sharp) and her touch of light pink lipstick.
This Junko Enoshima figure released on 12/13 with a price tag of ¥12,000 ($104 USD) and is still fairly affordable in the aftermarket. She varies between $130-160 depending on where you look.
Celestia Ludenberg Figure

ORIGIN: Danganronpa Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei
MANUFACTURER: Myethos
DISTRIBUTOR: Emontoys
SCALE: 1/7
JAN: 4589619490076
This is definitely one of the more unique figure bases we have seen. The base is in the shape of a traditional roulette wheel and is made up of two parts – the wheel and the turret. The lower part is hollowed out to fit into the roulette wheel base.
The turret is gold in color, and the upper part is magnetized to Celestia’s bottom so the figure sits nicely on the turret without need for support. We thought this was a fantastic touch and allows for such a beautiful base without clunky pegs or plastic poles.
We love the sculpt and paint of Celestia’s face, her red eyes and mouth are designed very nicely. The red of her eyes is not overbearing, but manages just enough to give her a dangerous look. . Her smile is painted very nicely; she looks part-beautiful human and part-evil demoness.
Her hair sculpt is fantastic, the strands are done very nicely for her fringe and down the sides of her face. Her gold cross-spherical earrings are also detailed, but they are rather hidden from view by her hair.
She was originally released in April of 2018 for ¥12,800 ($112 USD). Due to high demand in the aftermarket, her price has risen roughly 4x the original amount, making her one of the most expensive Danganronpa figures.
Nagito Komaeda Figure (ARTFX J)

ORIGIN: Super Danganronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen
MANUFACTURER: Kotobukiya
DISTRIBUTOR: Kotobukiya
SCALE: 1/7
JAN: 4934054033799
The way the coat looks – as though it’s fluttering in the wind – and the distinctive hairdo that resembles a flickering flame are all fantastic details on this figure. Every detail, such as the patterned coat, shirt, and wallet chain, are also perfectly reproduced in the sculpt.
The base is decorated in aqua blue and dark gray with a series of cubes sticking out. A logo inspired by the game’s title is printed onto one of the cubes and adds a stylish finish reminiscent of the game itself.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Danganronpa series, this reproduction variant comes with a special packaging that is decorated with the “Danganronpa 10th Anniversary” logo.
It hit the market in 12/16 with re-releases in 02/19 and 04/21. The original MSRP was ¥9,800 ($85 USD) and has since doubled, selling for around the $200 mark.
